    My working background has been in Tinplate, working 19 years in Ebbw Vale working with many men from this area. I came to Gorseinon in 1973, working in Lye Trading in Pontarddulais as Quality Control Manager. On its closure in 1985 I joined David Matthews Ltd as Customer Liaison Manager until I retired in 2001.

    I am a Plaid Town Councillor for the Penyrheol Ward of Gorseinon. Originally from Carmarthen, I have lived in Gorseinon for 7 years. In this time I have put down roots in the community and come to know the issues and, while I feel that Gorseinon has its problems, like any town, it has a good community spirit. I feel that I can contribute best to that spirit as a volunteer on the Town Council, serving the interests of the community.
