I have lived in Gorseinon most of my life and come from a well known Gorseinon family. I am married to Emma and have two young children Lauren and Ben.

Howard Payne (Gorseinon Central)
My working background has been in Tinplate, working 19 years in Ebbw Vale working with many men from this area. I came to Gorseinon in 1973, working in Lye Trading in Pontarddulais as Quality Control Manager. On its closure in 1985 I joined David Matthews Ltd as Customer Liaison Manager until I retired in 2001.

Janet Curtice (Penyrheol)
I am the daughter of a well known Gorseinon family, married for 42 years to fellow councillor, Malcolm Curtice. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren and we have lived in Gorseinon all our lives.

Jim Dunkley (Penyrheol)
I am a Plaid Town Councillor for the Penyrheol Ward of Gorseinon. Originally from Carmarthen, I have lived in Gorseinon for 7 years. In this time I have put down roots in the community and come to know the issues and, while I feel that Gorseinon has its problems, like any town, it has a good community spirit. I feel that I can contribute best to that spirit as a volunteer on the Town Council, serving the interests of the community.

John has been the part-time Clerk to the Town Council Since April 2004, when he took early retirement from his position as Assistant Director of Development/Planning at Swansea Council.

I have lived in Penyrheol all my life, having attended both Penyrheol Primary and Secondary schools I also taught at the latter for a period). As a schoolteacher I take a great interest in what is available for younger people and the future developments of the community.
