I am the daughter of a well known Gorseinon family, married for 42 years to fellow councillor, Malcolm Curtice. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren and we have lived in Gorseinon all our lives.
I was employed in the accounts office of a local Wholesale Food Warehouse and have also worked as a Cook in Charge for a number of years at Gorseinon Junior School; I am now retired. I have served on the Abbeyfield Committee for a number of years looking after the elderly and I have also been a Cub Scout Leader. I am now the Secretary/Treasurer of the local Labour Party Ward and also Secretary of a local over 50s club called the Re-cycled Teenagers.
Last year I was privileged to have served as the Town Mayor and, through hard work, dedication and the help of many friends and associates, I managed to raise a substantial amount of money for local youth organisations in our town; the Youth is something very close to my heart, these youths are out future. I am interested in environmental issues and I am concerned about the dog fouling and litter issues in and around our town.
I am dedicated to my position as a local Town Councillor, so please feel free to contact me anytime, using the contact details below, or through our own Town Clerk on any concerns or issues you may have.
